I think that you are a master at materials and I can only hope that I attain a bit of you expertise.

Thank you .......... Danny

Hello thank you so much for the materials!

I am having issues using the materials can someone please help me?

I download a specific material such a "Brushed Metal" onto my desktop and i go into rhino5 and import it into the martial list but for some reason it doesn't recognize the file and when i go to apply it to an object it just appears as a blank material?

Hi Kaveh,

If you don't have materials in the Library panel in Rhino 5, it sounds like you have an incomplete installation. I would suggest installing the latest Rhino 5 from here http://www.rhino3d.com/download

If you have added a Brazil material to the Materials Panel, make sure that Brazil is also the active render plugin and then check the texture paths in the material to make sure the downloaded material's textures are found.

Please use http://discourse.mcneel.com/ for more help if you need it... you can make posts in a Brazil category.

Does someone have a tutorial on how to make these more advanced materials in brazil?

Im looking for example for gold color, which really looks realistic.

Hi Brian,

thank you very much!

I have seen this video already. It is very nice, but it does not help me for what i need it. :( Maybe im just not capable of "translating" it to my needs......

Im a goldsmith and im looking for a tutorial to learn to make complicated materials, which look photorealistic. A good example for such complicated materials are gemstones like opal or labradorit and ofcourse gold.

here is an example of how such labadorit looks like:

I have already looked for clases around here, but there is no one teaching brazil :(
